Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy explains how Gigogram (“Gigogram,” “we” or “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit gigogram.com, contact us, book a call, apply for a job, or work with us as a client. By using our site or services, you agree to this policy. If you have questions, email privacy@gigogram.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry, reserve a package, book a call, message our team or ask for an estimate, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, company, website, industry, how you heard about us, your message and any files you share. If you use the cost calculator on our Services page, we save what you enter so we can improve our estimates and follow up.
Client information. When you work with us, we keep project details, messages, feedback, approvals, invoices, payment records and signed documents. When you sign or approve something online, we record your typed name and the date and time.
Job applicants. If you apply, we collect your contact details, city and state, LinkedIn and work links, your answers and your resume.
Team members and contractors. If you join our team, we collect the onboarding, payroll and tax information the law requires, which can include a Social Security or tax ID number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we record the pages you view, the site that referred you, campaign tags in the link, your device type and your approximate location (country, region and city) based on your internet address. We do not store your full internet address. When you open an estimate, invoice or project page we send you, we note that it was opened and when.
Information from other sources. To prepare for a call or estimate, we may review public information about your business, such as your website, logo and public listings.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. We use a small amount of browser storage to remember how you arrived at our site, privacy-friendly analytics to count visits, and essential cookies only for our team’s logins. Our site also loads fonts from a third-party font service, which receives your internet address when the page loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, our site works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing.
How we use information
- To respond to you, schedule calls and prepare estimates.
- To provide, support and improve the services you hire us for.
- To send invoices, receipts, reminders and project updates.
- To send occasional news about our services, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To review job applications and onboard team members.
- To understand how our site is used and make it better.
- To protect our site, our clients and our business, and to prevent fraud and spam.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help us work, for example to summarize an inquiry, research public information about a business, or draft an estimate or a reply. A person on our team reviews AI-written content before it is sent to you. Routine emails, such as booking confirmations and reminders, are standard messages. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Our AI teammate, Gigot, is always labeled as AI. The AI providers we use are not permitted to use your information to train their models.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, data storage, email, AI, payment processing, and accounting and legal advisors. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- With your permission. For example, we only show a client’s work or business name in our portfolio with written permission.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or anyone’s safety.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, where this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Email and text messages
We email you about your inquiry, booking, estimate or project. If we send news or offers, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out does not affect emails about your project. We only text you if you ask us to or text us first. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts. We do not share your mobile number with anyone for their marketing.
Payments
Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number. We keep a record of each payment’s amount, date and method for our books.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Client, invoice and tax records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Inquiries and job applications are kept while they are useful for following up or for future roles, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
How we protect information
We use encrypted connections, private storage, access limited to the people who need it, and two-step login for our team. Sensitive tax forms are encrypted when stored. No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank details or passwords by email or through our general forms. We collect tax information only through our secure onboarding forms.
Your privacy rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link. To make a request, email privacy@gigogram.com. We will confirm your identity before we act, respond within 45 days, and never treat you differently for using your rights. We may keep information when the law requires it, such as tax records.
California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct and delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and we use sensitive information, such as a team member’s tax ID, only as the law allows. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. In the past 12 months we collected these categories, for the purposes and from the sources described above:
- Identifiers and contact details, such as name, email, phone and company.
- Commercial information, such as services requested, estimates, invoices and payment records.
- Internet activity, such as pages viewed and referring sites.
- Approximate location, such as city and region.
- Professional and employment information, such as resumes, applications and onboarding records.
- Sensitive personal information, limited to tax ID numbers of our team members.
Residents of other states with privacy laws may have similar rights, and we honor them the same way.
Systems we build for clients
When we build or run a system for your business, the information in it belongs to you, and we handle it only to provide our services under our agreement with you. Your own privacy policy applies to your customers and their information. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business about your information.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and information is stored and processed here. By using our site, you understand that your information will be handled under U.S. law.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to sites we do not control, including our clients’ sites. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top, and if a change is significant, we will let our clients know by email.
